Create Transfer

Initiate and manage fund transfers across a diverse range of payment rails with the Transfers API. This high-performance endpoint serves as your central gateway for secure and compliant liquidity movement, supporting everything from real-time internal settlements to complex international SWIFT messaging.

Our orchestration layer handles the complexities of payment rail selection, automated AML screening, and multi-stage lifecycle tracking, ensuring that every transaction meets both operational and regulatory standards.

Lifecycle Operations

You can manage payments through two primary workflows:

  1. Fully Defined: Specify comprehensive account details for both the originator and the recipient within the request body.
  2. Recipient Indexing: Utilize a pre-registered recipientId to simplify the payload and ensure consistency with known beneficiaries.

Supported Payment Rails

The platform intelligently routes transactions through several specialized rails:

  • INTERNAL: Instantaneous fund movement between accounts within the same institution.
  • ACH / SAMEDAYACH: Standard and expedited Automated Clearing House transfers for domestic economy.
  • WIRE: High-priority domestic transfers with near-instant finality.
  • SWIFT: Secure international messaging for global cross-border transfers.
  • External Card (Push/Pull): Direct integration with card networks for funding (Pull) or disbursement (Push).

Implementation & Compliance Steps

To ensure a seamless transfer experience, follow these operational best practices:

  1. Verification: Confirm the originator account is Active and has sufficient Available Balance before submission.
  2. Address Mandate: For WIRE and SWIFT transfers, recipient address details (including stateCode and countryCode) are mandatory for regulatory compliance.
  3. Idempotency: Always provide a unique externalId to prevent duplicate transaction processing during network retries.
  4. Monitoring: Transfers undergo rigorous AML Screening. Subscribe to webhooks (e.g., EXECUTION_SUCCESS, AML_REJECTED) to receive real-time status updates and automate your reconciliation logic.
